Review: Simple Moisture Boost Hydro Cream

My skin has been super dry for the past couple months. I usually have dry skin, but lately it was that bad that I've had to consider changing my foundation (MAC Studio Sculpt) with no luck on finding one that didn't emphasise the dry patches on my skin. I switched back to using Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish too which helped a little bit, but it was still super dry. I went in search of something to use and found this Moisture Boost Hydro Cream in Superdrug. At £5.99 I was a little unsure whether it would actually work, but I decided to just give it a go anyway.

There aren't many instructions that come with it which I thought was a little offputting. Obviously its a cream so you just apply it to your face, but I didn't know whether it was to be used on its own, or with moisturiser. As my skin was just so dry, I decided to use it with my normal moisturiser, applying this first. It also has a pump which I love. I just use about a pea sized amount and that does my whole face.

After about 2 days, I could already see and feel the difference in my skin. It felt a lot softer, plump and moisturised which was amazing. I've only been applying it once a day (in the morning) and already my skin has improved so much in a week and a half. Although there are still little dry patch's on my nose and forehead, they have improved so much to how they were before I started using this and I hope they'll continue to improve.

I was a little worried that around my nose and chin (which aren't usually too dry) it would start to get quite greasy, but it hasn't done that at all which I was quite impressed by. Overall, I love this product and would completely recommend this if you have dry skin. Have you tried this? What did you think of it?
